미련한 자는 지식만큼이나 즐거움도 올바르게 사용할 능력이 없다. 그러나 그에게 즐거움이 있는 것이 종들이 부당하게 높아지는 것보다는 덜 어울리지 않는다. 각 사람은 부르심을 받은 그 처지에 머물라(고린도전서 7:20).
