Sang nabalitaan sang hari sang Juda nga nag-isa ang Aram kag ang Israel, nagkurog siya kag ang iya mga tawo sa kahadlok. Nagkulurog sila pareho sa mga kahoy nga ginauyog sang hangin.

Nagsiling ang Ginoo kay Isaias, “Upda ang imo anak nga si Shear Jashub kag sugataa ninyo si Ahaz sa may punta sang ililigan sang ibabaw nga punong, didto dampi sa dalan pakadto sa lugar nga ginapanglabhan.

Amo ini ang isiling mo sa iya: ‘Maghanda ka! Magkalma ka lang kag indi magkahadlok. Indi ka magpakulba tungod lang sa puwerte nga kaakig ni Haring Rezin sang Aram kag ni Haring Peka nga anak ni Remalia. Ini sila pareho lang sa duha ka tuod sang kahoy nga nagaaso pero wala sing kalayo.

Nagplano sila sa paglaglag sa imo. Nagsiling sila,

“Salakayon ta ang Juda kag pierdihon. Pamartidahon ta ang kadutaan sini kag himuon dayon naton nga hari didto ang anak ni Tabeel.”

“ ‘Pero nagasiling ang Ginoong Dios: Indi gid ini matabo.

Kay ang Damascus amo lang ang kapital sang Aram, kag si Rezin nagahari lang sa Damascus. Kag ang Samaria amo lang ang kapital sang Israel, kag si Peka nga anak ni Remalia nagahari lang sa Samaria. Malaglag ang Israel sa sulod sang 65 ka tuig, gani indi na ini matawag nga isa ka nasyon. Kon indi mabakod ang inyo pagtuo malaglag gid kamo. ’ ”

Karon, nagsiling liwat ang Ginoo kay Ahaz,

“Magpangayo ka sang tanda sa akon, ang Ginoo nga imo Dios, sa pagpamatuod nga tumanon ko ang akon promisa. Bisan pa maghalin man ini sa idalom, didto sa lugar sang mga patay, ukon sa ibabaw, didto sa langit.”

Nagsabat si Ahaz, “Indi ako magpangayo sang tanda. Indi ko pagtilawan ang Ginoo.”

Nagsiling si Isaias, “Pamati kamo, kaliwat ni David! Indi pa bala tuman ang pagpaugtas ninyo sa mga tawo? Kag karon ang akon Dios naman ang inyo ginapaugtas!

Gani ang Ginoo mismo ang maghatag sa inyo sang tanda. Kag amo ini ang tanda: Magabusong ang isa ka bataon nga babayi kag magabata sing lalaki. Kag pagatawgon niya ang bata nga ‘Emmanuel.’

Sa tion nga matubuan na sing buot ang bata, magakaon siya sing keso kag honey.

7:16

Pero antes siya matubuan sang buot, ang duta sang duha ka hari nga ginakahadlukan mo, Ahaz, malaglag kag pabay-an na lang.

Sa ulihi, ikaw kag ang imo katawhan, pati ang imo harianon nga pamilya, ipasalakay sang Ginoo sa hari sang Assyria. Kag maagyan ninyo ang kalisod nga wala pa ninyo maagyan halin sang nagseparar ang Israel sa Juda.

“Sa sina nga tion, magapanihol ang Ginoosa pagtawag sa mga taga-Egypt kag taga-Assyria. Kag magaabot ang mga taga-Egypt nga daw sa mga langaw halin sa malayo nga mga suba sang Egypt, kag magaabot man ang mga taga-Assyria nga daw sa mga putyukan.

Magaabot ini sila kag magaestar sa bisan diin: sa madalom nga mga ililigan sang tubig, sa mga buho sang dalagko nga mga bato, sa tunukon nga mga kahoy-kahoy, kag sa mga palahalban.

“Sa sina nga tion, gamiton sang Ginoo ang hari sang Assyria sa paglaglag sing bug-os sa inyo duta. Pareho siya sa barbero nga halin sa tabok sang Suba sang Euphrates nga ginsuhulan sa pagkiskis sang inyo buhok, balahibo, kag pati sang inyo mga burangos.

Sa sina man nga tion, ang talamnan sang ubas nga may 1,000 ka puno nga nagabili sing 1,000 ka pilak mapuno sang tunukon nga mga kahoy-kahoy kag mangin masiot na.

Magapangayam ang mga tawo didto dala ang ila mga pana kag bangkaw, tungod kay masiot na ini kag puno sang tunukon nga mga kahoy-kahoy.

Wala na sing may magkadto sa mga bukid didto nga sang una anay ginatamnan, tungod sa kahadlok nga masiot na ini kag puno sang tunukon nga mga kahoy-kahoy. Mangin palahalban na lang ini sang mga baka, karnero kag kanding.”
