Scène 1 창세기 8:1-5

God Remembered the Ark

God remembered Noah and every life inside the ark.

A wind began to blow, and the waters slowly went down.

God did not forget his people in the long waiting.

At last, the ark came to rest on the mountains.

Scène 2 창세기 8:6-12

The Ark Rested on the Mountains

The ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

The earth was not dry yet, but the waters kept going down.

God was slowly preparing a new beginning.

Noah would open the window and watch for change outside.

Scène 3 창세기 8:13-14

Noah Sent Out the Birds

Noah opened the window and first sent out a raven.

He also sent out a dove to see whether the ground was drying.

Noah did not rush; he waited for the time God would open.

Soon the dove would bring a small sign of hope.

Scène 4 창세기 8:15-19

The Dove Brought an Olive Leaf

In the evening, the dove came back to Noah.

In its mouth was a fresh olive leaf.

Noah knew that the waters were going down from the earth.

But Noah still did not hurry out of the ark.

The Earth Dried and They Came Out

At last, the earth was dry.

God told Noah to come out with his family and every living creature.

The lives inside the ark carefully stepped onto the new ground.

Noah first worshiped God and gave thanks.

Scène 6 창세기 8:21-22

Noah Worshiped God

After coming out of the ark, Noah built an altar and worshiped God.

God received Noah's worship and spoke in his heart.

God said that the days and seasons of the earth would continue.

In the next story, God will show the covenant sign of the rainbow.
