Cena 1 요한복음 6:1-4

People Gathered on the Galilee Hill

Jesus went to the other side of the Sea of Galilee.

Many people followed Jesus because they had seen his signs.

The Passover was near, and people gathered on the hill to see Jesus.

When Jesus saw the large crowd, he asked his disciples a question.

Cena 2 요한복음 6:5-9

The Child Who Offered a Small Lunch

Jesus asked Philip where they could buy bread to feed the people.

Jesus already knew what he was going to do.

Andrew said that a child had five barley loaves and two fish.

The small lunch was offered to Jesus as something precious.

Jesus took that small lunch and had the people sit down.

Cena 3 요한복음 6:10-15

The Sign That Fed Everyone

Jesus told the people to sit down.

Jesus gave thanks for the bread and gave it to the people.

Everyone ate as much as they wanted, and the leftover pieces were gathered.

When the people wanted to make Jesus king by force, Jesus withdrew to the mountain alone.

Jesus did not follow the crowd's plan, and that evening the disciples crossed the sea.

Cena 4 요한복음 6:16-21

Jesus Came Across the Night Sea

When evening came, the disciples got into a boat and crossed the sea.

In the dark night, the wind blew and the waves grew high.

The disciples saw Jesus coming across the sea and were afraid.

Jesus said, It is I. Do not be afraid.

The next day, the people set out again to look for Jesus.

The Crowd Came Looking for Jesus

The next day, the people saw that Jesus was not there.

They went by boat to Capernaum and looked for Jesus.

Jesus told them to work for food that lasts to eternal life, not only for food that disappears.

The people asked what they should do to do God's work.

Cena 6 요한복음 6:28-34

The True Bread God Gives

The people asked what they should do to do God's work.

Jesus said that God's work is to believe in the one God sent.

The people remembered the manna that came from heaven in the days of Moses.

Jesus taught that God gives the true bread that gives life to the world.

Now Jesus said that he himself is the bread of life.

Cena 7 요한복음 6:35-40

I Am the Bread of Life

Jesus said that he is the bread of life.

Whoever comes to Jesus will not hunger, and whoever believes in him will not thirst.

Jesus said he will not lose those the Father gives him, but will raise them up on the last day.

Jesus is the one who gives true life.

But the people did not easily understand these words from Jesus.

Cena 8 요한복음 6:41-51

The Bread That Came Down from Heaven

The people struggled when Jesus said he was the bread that came down from heaven.

They thought they knew Jesus' family.

Jesus said that those drawn by the Father come to him.

Jesus again taught that the one who believes has eternal life.

Jesus' teaching went deeper, and the people found it even harder.

Cena 9 요한복음 6:52-59

A Hard Saying That Gives Life

The people asked one another because Jesus' words were hard to understand.

When Jesus spoke of his flesh and blood, he was teaching the deep meaning of giving his life for us.

This is not a strange or frightening story about eating.

It teaches that those who believe in Jesus and remain in him receive true life.

Before this hard teaching, the hearts of many people were revealed.

Cena 10 요한복음 6:60-66

Many Disciples Turned Back

Many who heard Jesus said that this teaching was hard.

Jesus taught that the Spirit gives life, and that his words are spirit and life.

But many disciples no longer walked with Jesus.

This scene should be heard as a sad moment of people leaving because they did not understand.

Then Jesus also asked the Twelve a question.

Cena 11 요한복음 6:67-69

You Have the Words of Eternal Life

Jesus asked the Twelve if they also wanted to go away.

Peter answered that Jesus has the words of eternal life, so where else could they go?

Peter confessed that they believed and knew Jesus is the Holy One of God.

Even before hard teaching, the disciples stayed with Jesus.

But John chapter 6 does not end only with a joyful confession; it also shows Jesus' serious knowledge of the heart.

Cena 12 요한복음 6:70-71

Jesus Knew the Heart

Jesus chose the Twelve, but he also knew that one of them would betray him.

John closes the chapter seriously by mentioning Judas Iscariot.

Jesus was not unaware of human hearts or surprised by what would happen.

Jesus knew all things and still walked God's way.

In John chapter 7, the questions and tensions around Jesus grow stronger.
