Cena 1 요한복음 1:1-5

The Word in the Beginning

John begins by gently telling us who Jesus is.

Before the world was made, the Word was already there, and life was in him.

Like light shining in the darkness, God showed us the true light.

Then God sent a man to tell people about that light.

Cena 2 요한복음 1:6-8

The Man Who Witnessed to the Light

God sent a man named John to speak about the light.

John was not the light, but he told people to look toward the true light.

We can also point people to the light instead of trying to keep it for ourselves.

And that light was coming close to people's hearts.

Cena 3 요한복음 1:9-13

The True Light and God's Children

The true light came into the world and shone for everyone.

Some people did not recognize him, but those who believed and received him became God's children.

God does not only watch us from far away. He calls us his children.

That light did not shine only from far away. He came near and lived among us.

Cena 4 요한복음 1:14-18

The Word Who Lived Among Us

The Word became human and lived among us.

People saw that he was full of grace and truth.

God came close to us, so we would not think of him as far away.

To the people who were waiting, John clearly said who he was.

Cena 5 요한복음 1:19-28

John's Answer

People came to John and asked who he was.

John did not try to make himself look great. He said he was preparing the way for the Lord.

A humble person looks more at what God will do than at making their own name big.

John's words finally turned people's eyes toward Jesus.

Cena 6 요한복음 1:29-34

Look, the Lamb of God

John saw Jesus and called him the Lamb of God.

The people did not yet understand everything, but John recognized the one God had sent.

This scene quietly points us to look at Jesus.

Some who heard those words began to follow Jesus.

Cena 7 요한복음 1:35-42

Two Disciples Followed

Two disciples heard John and followed Jesus.

Jesus told them, "Come and see," and that meeting began a new road.

A small faith that begins in one heart can be shared with another person.

And that meeting was shared with another friend.

Cena 8 요한복음 1:43-51

Philip and Nathanael

Jesus called Philip, and Philip told Nathanael the news.

Nathanael wondered at first, but when he met Jesus, his heart began to open.

When God calls us, he can use a friend's words and a small meeting.
