場景 1 창세기 1:1-2

In the Beginning, God Made Everything

Long, long ago, when there was nothing at all, God made the heavens and the earth.

The earth was empty and dark, and it was quiet over the deep waters.

But the Spirit of God was gently hovering over the waters. Something wonderful was about to begin.

What did God make first in that dark place?

The First Day: "Let There Be Light"

God spoke: "Let there be light!" And right away, there was light.

God saw that the light was good.

God called the light "day" and the darkness "night." This was the first day.

Now what would God place between the waters?

The Second Day: God Made the Sky

God spoke and made a wide space in the middle of the waters.

That space separated the water above from the water below.

God called the wide space "sky." This was the second day.

When the waters gather together, what will appear?

The Third Day: Land, Sea, and Plants

God spoke, and the waters gathered into one place so the dry land appeared.

God called the dry ground "land" and the gathered waters "seas."

Then grass, flowers, and fruit trees grew from the ground. God saw that it was good. This was the third day.

Now what will shine in the sky?

The Fourth Day: Sun, Moon, and Stars

God spoke and made shining lights in the sky.

He set the sun, a great light to rule the day, the moon to rule the night, and very many stars.

They show us day and night, seasons and days. God saw that it was good. This was the fourth day.

Now what will swim in the water and fly in the sky?

The Fifth Day: Fish and Birds

God spoke, and the seas were filled with swimming fish.

In the sky, birds spread their wings and flew about.

God blessed them and told them to grow and fill the world. It was good. This was the fifth day.

Finally, what living things will live on the land?

場景 7 창세기 1:24-25

The Sixth Day: Animals on the Land

God spoke, and all kinds of animals came from the land.

There were wild animals of the field, livestock to live with people, and small creatures that crawl.

God made each one different. And it was good.

But on the sixth day, one very special thing was still to come.

場景 8 창세기 1:26-31

God Made People in His Own Image

Last of all, God made something very special—people.

God made people in his own image, both male and female.

He blessed them and asked them to care for the whole world. God looked at everything he had made, and it was very good. This was the sixth day.

After making everything, God gave rest on the seventh day. The story continues next time.
