Lord my God, I take refuge in you.

if friends I paid back with evil,
may the enemy chase and find me,
Arise, Lord, in anger,
Gather the nations about you,
as the Lord, the judge of the peoples.
Put an end to the wrong of the wicked,
God is my shield:
God is a just judge,
He will sharpen his sword without fail,
his deadly weapons are ready,
The enemy who conceives evil;
a pit they have made and dug;
On their own heads their mischief comes back;
I will give thanks to the Lord for his justice,
