Terms of Service
Ngày có hiệu lực: Th0716, 2026
Article 1 (Purpose and Operator)
These Terms govern the scripture.how service (the "Service") operated by Quant How, Inc. ((주)퀀트하우, the "Company") and set out the rights and obligations of the Company and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
1. "User" includes members and visitors; a "Member" is a user with a registered account.
2. "Content" includes Bible texts, translations, commentaries, original-language resources, dictionaries, study materials, Bible notes, and audio created or uploaded by users.
3. "Paid Service" means a digital service requiring payment, including subscriptions, cloud audio storage, and credits.
4. "Storage Service" lets a user link a selected voice-Bible set to an account for storage, playback, export, and sharing.
Article 3 (Effect and Changes)
These Terms apply from the effective date shown on the Service. The Company may update them within applicable law and will give reasonable advance notice of material changes that disadvantage users.
Article 4 (Accounts and Use)
1. Some features, including Bible reading and browser-local recording, are free.
2. Users must provide accurate information and safeguard their account credentials.
3. Users under 14 may be restricted from registration or paid services where guardian consent is legally required.
4. Collection and redistribution of content are governed by the Content Use Rules (/content-use) and each source license.
Article 5 (Paid Services and Subscriptions)
1. Price, billing interval, deliverables, and renewal terms are shown before payment.
2. A subscription renews at the displayed interval until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals, while access normally continues through the paid period unless law or the checkout states otherwise.
3. One cloud-storage entitlement may be linked to one voice-Bible set within the scope shown at checkout. Unused entitlements and entitlements already linked to a set may have different conditions.
4. "Lifetime storage" means that a linked set remains stored without an additional recurring fee after cancellation for as long as the Company operates that cloud-storage service. If the service is permanently discontinued, the Company will give reasonable notice and an export or migration period.
5. Where a payment provider acts as Merchant of Record, its procedures also apply to receipts, taxes, cancellations, and refunds.
Article 6 (Withdrawal, Refunds, and Cancellation)
Withdrawal and refunds follow the Refund Policy (/refund), the terms shown at checkout, and mandatory law. More favorable mandatory or payment-provider buyer protections prevail. Requests may be made through subscription management or at [email protected].
Article 7 (User Content)
Users or their licensors retain rights in uploaded content and authorize the Company to store, transform, transmit, and display it only as needed to provide the Service. Users must have permission for third-party voices or works and must not use voice content for deception, impersonation, or infringement.
Article 8 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not steal identities, disrupt the Service, scrape or redistribute content without permission, transmit malware, infringe rights, use the Service unlawfully or deceptively, or bypass security.
Article 9 (Changes, Suspension, and Export)
The Service may be changed or temporarily suspended for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or force majeure. If a core paid feature is permanently discontinued, the Company will provide remedies required by law or a reasonable alternative and export period.
Article 10 (Termination)
Members may request account deletion and should export needed notes and audio first. The Company may restrict or terminate access for material violations, with notice where practicable.
Article 11 (Liability)
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited for force majeure, user-caused loss, or third-party network failure where the Company has no intent or gross negligence. Nothing limits mandatory consumer rights.
Article 12 (Law, Disputes, and Seller Information)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Unresolved disputes are submitted to a court with jurisdiction under applicable procedural law.
