Copyrighted translations must be negotiated and contracted directly between each organization and the copyright holder, separately from the platform build. scripture.how does not secure or resell those usage rights on your behalf, and cannot serve such translations without a license. Public-domain translations and content we produce ourselves can be used without a separate contract. Commentaries, original-language data, and dictionary data each come with different sources and license terms, so they are kept separate in the service structure. Which resources you can use is something we check together first, during the consultation.

The core features are the Bible reading screen, original-language/cross-reference/commentary resources, author Advanced Notes, 1260 QT, and copywork and typing practice. Depending on the organization, the mix can center on public Advanced Notes, on QT, or on educational materials.

For churches, members’ QT and pastors’ Advanced Notes may matter most; for publishers, authors and support structures may matter most; for educational institutions, English Bible study, copywork, and assignment-style progress records may matter more.

In the first consultation, rather than the screens you want, we first check the operating purpose, the resources to use, the content authors, the publishing policy, the support structure, and whether multilingual support is needed. Once these are set, the feature scope and build stages can be divided realistically.
