Numbers 3 is now open as an eight-scene Bible story, covering Aaron's sons, the Levites set apart for service, the census and tabernacle duties of the Gershonite, Kohathite, and Merarite families, and the Levites and redemption silver given in place of Israel's firstborn. We continued the approved visual canon for Moses, Aaron, Eleazar, Ithamar, and the wilderness tabernacle from the preceding chapters. The Kohathite scene received an additional correction and review so the workers remain outside the sanctuary, the ark stays hidden behind the closed veil, and exactly one lampstand is visible. Every scene was checked for passage order, narration, clothing and tabernacle continuity, original-resolution artwork, and permanent public assets.

Leviticus 4 is now open as a five-scene Bible story, presenting the sin offering for unintentional wrongdoing and the path of forgiveness given to the anointed priest, the whole community, a leader, and an ordinary person. Instead of repeating the same composition with only the animal changed, the chapter uses five distinct visual beats: Moses listening in a spacious opening, a high oblique priest scene, a broad horizontal gathering of elders and the community, a low side view led by the altar horn, and an eye-level conclusion centered on forgiveness and peace with no animal shown. We reviewed passage order, narration, character and clothing continuity, tabernacle canon, original-resolution artwork, and permanent public assets.

Leviticus 3 is now open as a four-scene Bible story, covering peace offerings brought from the herd or flock and the command to set apart the blood and fat for God. Each scene pairs passage-guided narration with new artwork. The bull, the ram with its broad fat tail, and the bearded goat with its upright tail are clearly distinguished, and the story closes with Eleazar teaching a family the meaning of the peace offering. We also reviewed character, clothing, and tabernacle-background continuity across all four scenes together with the original-resolution assets.

All 655 entries across the 25 chapters of 2 Kings in John Gill’s commentary now have Korean translations. Chapter introductions, verse-by-verse notes, and historical, linguistic, and theological explanations can be read alongside the preserved English original, and Scripture references have been normalized. This is the twelfth fully translated book in the John Gill collection.

Completed a full quality repair of the Korean Matthew Henry commentary

We re-audited all 4,537 Korean entries in Matthew Henry’s commentary. Honorific prose and machine-translation artifacts were revised into a consistent scholarly style in 548 entries across 21 books, while duplicated explanations inside quotations and display errors caused by damaged verse numbers, asterisks, and line breaks were repaired. The final audit found no remaining identified quotation or verse-marker display defects. Quotations derived from the KJV tradition remain faithful to their source and are not replaced solely because they differ from modern Korean Bible translations.

We opened a Kakao Channel for updates and resource announcements, Kakao Open Chat for informal conversation in Korean, and a multilingual Discord community for people across language groups. You can join them directly from the account menu or site footer. The existing scripture.how forms remain the official routes for questions, suggestions, feedback, and private inquiries.

A final review confirmed that no untranslated entries remain and checked reference normalization, theological terminology, and public rendering. The Bible Quiz is now open for every Psalm, from Psalm 1 through Psalm 150. Each Psalm contains five questions for each of four groups — children, youth, adults, and whole-church events — for 20 questions per Psalm and 3,000 published questions in all. The final stretch, Psalms 101 through 150, added 1,000 questions. True/false, multiple-choice, short-answer, fill-in-the-blank, and ordering questions were shaped for each audience's reading level, with verse ranges and explanations tying every answer directly to the Korean Revised Version text. A final cross-check of all 50 chapter leaves and four audience groups confirmed exactly 250 published questions per group, with no unpublished or inactive rows and no duplicate source references. The final quiz regression suite also passed all 106 tests and 506 assertions.

Before producing more charts, we established a source-first foundation: verified single-leaf technical pilots for Ussher's 1650 Latin edition, Newton's 1728 edition, and Osborn's 1871 edition, together with a four-edition registry. Rights, source locators, checksums, OCR, review, and translation states are tracked separately, and Bible Timeline claims can link back to the corresponding theology source leaf. New acquisition of Ussher's 1658 English edition and full-edition ingestion, correction, and translation remain follow-up work. Unreviewed scope is never inferred to mean that a source states no date, and target-language translation opens only after source completeness and reviewed Korean are verified.

Exodus 34 is now open in eight scenes, from Moses ascending Sinai with new tablets and the proclamation of God's merciful name to the renewed covenant, Sabbath and festival instructions, Moses' radiant face after forty days, and his personal face covering. The approved Moses, Aaron, tablets, pillar of cloud, and meeting-tent canons continue through the chapter, and a new Mount Sinai environment canon was approved. God is never depicted as a person or bodily form. Moses' radiance appears as gentle golden light within his facial skin rather than a halo. Aaron wears ordinary elder clothing appropriate to this point in the story, and the final veil is shown as a small personal face covering distinct from a sanctuary curtain.

The E-ink home now opens with a reading-first layout

We redesigned the E-ink home as a monochrome, mobile-first entrance for electronic-ink screens. Bible reading now opens directly in E-ink mode, with Today's devotional and My Voice Bible alongside it. The changelog bell now shows the number of recent changes, and the hamburger menu provides sign-in plus language selection in a separate popup. The document itself no longer scrolls vertically; swipes, the mouse wheel, and Page Up or Page Down replace the active screen with the adjacent screen. The second screen is now a structured footer with site policies, sources, contact information, supported languages, and copyright details. The KakaoTalk share preview is now monochrome, with only the top-right E-ink mode label highlighted in yellow with black text. The fullscreen control remains available at the bottom-right, and the bottom link opens the standard-mode site.

Fixed an issue where the E-ink home sign-in menu opened a nonexistent locale-prefixed path and returned a 404. It now opens the standard site sign-in page and returns to the Korean home afterward.

Exodus 33 is now open in seven scenes, covering the command to journey toward the promised land, the people's mourning, the meeting tent outside the camp, Moses' intercession, the promise of God's presence and rest, and Moses' protection in the cleft of the rock. The approved Moses and Joshua canons continue through the chapter. A simple temporary meeting tent, distinct from the later completed tabernacle, and a non-human pillar of cloud were approved as new canons. God is never depicted as a person, angel, face, hand, back, body, clothing, or silhouette; the final scene conveys holy presence and protection through natural rock shadow and the light that remains after the passage.

Mobile navigation now opens as a right-side drawer

The mobile menu no longer expands downward beneath the header. It now opens from the right as a full-height drawer, keeping the current page in context while you navigate. Language and appearance controls remain available at the top of the drawer.

The E-ink home and Bible reader now navigate inside a persistent fullscreen shell, so fullscreen stays active while returning home or moving between chapters. The scripture.how logo in the reader footer returns to the E-ink home in the current language, and the E-ink home now includes its own enter/exit fullscreen control.

Fullscreen icon state and exit behavior are now synchronized

Fixed an issue where entering the Bible reader after enabling fullscreen on the E-ink home left the bottom-right control showing the expand icon and prevented fullscreen from exiting on the home screen. The reader control now shows the collapse icon whenever the shared shell is fullscreen, and the current fullscreen session exits correctly from either the home or reader. Links to the standard site and other services also leave fullscreen before opening, avoiding the blocked-frame screen. Pressing Page Down at the end of a document now opens the next chapter on the E-ink origin instead of loading the standard-site URL inside the iframe and triggering a CSP error, so fullscreen remains active across the chapter change.

E-ink page turns now continue at verse boundaries

Removed the fixed-ratio overlap used for e-ink page turns. Only the first verse whose text is actually covered by a floating button or clipped below the viewport reappears on the next screen; a verse that remains fully readable beside the buttons is not repeated. When the verse has an associated title or superscription, the next screen starts with that title. The first verse or title is positioned fully below the sticky header with half of the normal verse spacing above it. The space between the footnotes and bottom footer has also been reduced by half. Paging continues naturally within a verse that is taller than the screen.

Fixed an issue where the Listen button on the lower left sat higher than the quick tools on the lower right around the iPad home indicator safe area. The Listen, panel, and quick-tool buttons now share the same bottom baseline.

The Bible Quiz is now open for every chapter of Genesis, from chapter 1 through chapter 50. Each chapter has five questions for each of four groups — preschool and lower primary, upper primary and youth, young adults and adults, and whole-church events — making 20 questions per chapter and 1,000 published questions in all. The groups differ in more than difficulty. Each one reads different verses and scenes from the chapter. True/false, multiple choice, short answer, fill-in-the-blank, and ordering questions are used throughout the bank so readers can trace people, promises, journeys, and events in several ways. All 200 chapter-and-group combinations and all 1,000 questions passed the final audit. The checks looked for answers exposed inside their own prompts, answers leaked by another question in the same group, and wording that appears only in the correct choice and makes it selectable without understanding. The completed audit reported no warnings or issues.

Exodus 32 is now open in eight scenes, covering the people's making and wrongful worship of the golden calf, Moses' intercession, the breaking of the two tablets, Aaron's accountability, the Levites' decision, and Moses' renewed intercession the next day. The approved Moses, Aaron, Joshua, and paired-tablet canons continue throughout the chapter, and a small hand-cast golden calf was approved as a new object canon. The false worship is never glamorized. The narration preserves the severity of judgment while weapons, wounds, blood, bodies, forced drinking, and plague suffering remain off-screen. God and the messenger are not given human form, and the final scene shows Moses pleading with empty hands beside the path that leads forward.

Its six scenes cover the call by name and gift of wisdom, the ordered sanctuary design, the Sabbath as a covenant sign and day of rest, and Moses receiving the two tablets of the testimony. The approved Bezalel and Oholiab character canons and tabernacle object canons continue throughout the chapter, and exactly two matching tablets were approved as a new object canon. The Sabbath scenes show a peaceful community with work and tools at rest. The closing scene shows Moses with exactly two stone tablets while keeping God unseen and free from human form.

The language selector in the site header and the language list in the footer now begin with the language you are currently viewing. On your first visit, the language detected from your browser or region appears first; after you switch languages, your selection moves to the front. All remaining languages keep the established default order.

You can now read the text in bold

A bold toggle now sits to the right of the font selector in the view options. Turning it on thickens the Bible text only; buttons and helper text stay as they are. It is independent of the font you pick, so changing fonts keeps your bold setting, and the choice is saved in this browser. It is off by default. This helps on screens where letters look thin, such as e-ink.

Hardware page buttons send different signals on different e-readers. We previously matched key names only, so devices that do not report a standard name were missed. Buttons drawn as white text on a dark background — the search button, or the tab you have selected in the version picker — were completely invisible on older e-reader browsers. The colours are now declared in a form older browsers understand.

More shows every child entry from the included sections in a compact multi-column layout, while languages whose navigation still fits keep the full original arrangement.

Locales that do not yet contain newly added home copy now receive a recursive English fallback, so Filipino and other localized home pages open without an error. Bible-reading guide previews are visible again, and the standard reader footer has additional safe spacing so floating controls no longer cover its content.

Under 'Reading view' in the quick tools, you can change text size and line spacing step by step and choose narrow, normal, or wide horizontal margins. The standard and e-ink screens remember their settings separately, and the Bible listening button can be shown or hidden independently on either screen. E-ink also keeps its verse-by-verse or continuous reading layout in the same panel. For vertical touch input on e-ink, choose full-screen scrolling, full-screen paging, left-side scrolling with right-side paging, or the reverse. On-screen paging controls can be hidden or placed in the centre, left, or right, and the quick-tool controls have been aligned and sized for easier use on an e-reader. Verse selection now uses a simple bar on the left. E-ink keeps only Materials and Multi-view actions; tap the selected verse again to clear both the selection and its buttons.

Bible reading on e-ink — fullscreen across chapter changes

E-ink fullscreen now keeps an outer reader screen active while only the Bible page inside it changes. Fullscreen stays active when moving between chapters or books by horizontal swipe, Previous or Next, or automatic navigation at the end of a screen. When fullscreen closes, the standard screen continues from the chapter that was open inside. A web page cannot disable the system fullscreen-exit gesture provided by iPadOS.

Bible reading on e-ink — smoother paging and listening

E-ink Bible reading now turns pages more like a dedicated e-reader. Swipe up for the next screen and down for the previous one, with a small overlap that preserves the reading context between screens. Duplicate footnote text and numbers are removed, and the remaining notes flow from the left in a continuous line. A fullscreen button has been added to the quick tools, and physical keys reported by e-readers — Page Up and Page Down, arrow keys, volume keys, and browser previous/next keys — can turn the screen. Browser fullscreen ends when moving to another chapter, so the installed app mode can be used to keep an address-bar-free window across navigation. Bible listening now brings the currently narrated verse onto the appropriate screen automatically. Turn on 'Auto-play next chapter' in the narration options to continue after the whole chapter finishes; the last chapter of a book continues with the first chapter of the next book. This option is off by default.

Exodus 30 is now open, showing the incense offered to God and the meaning of holy separation. Its eight scenes cover the golden incense altar and its placement, morning and evening incense, the equal half-shekel ransom, washing at the bronze basin, and the holy anointing oil and incense. New approved object references were prepared for the golden incense altar, half-shekel silver weight, bronze basin and stand, holy anointing oil, and holy incense. The scenes preserve the passage's exact roles and counts: seven lamps, Aaron and his four sons as five priests, five ingredient groups for the oil, and four aromatic groups for the incense. The closing scene presents the command not to copy the sacred incense for private pleasure in a calm, child-friendly family setting.

Its eight scenes cover the bull and two rams to be prepared, the cleansing of Aaron and his four sons, the sin and burnt offerings, the marks of ordination, the bread and offering portions, seven days of consecration, and the two yearling lambs offered morning and evening. New approved object references were prepared for the young bull, mature ram, yearling lamb, and basket of unleavened bread. The scenes were corrected so the right earlobe, right hands, and right feet are shown accurately, and the holy meal scene contains exactly seven lamps. The sacrificial instructions preserve the passage order while remaining reverent, child-safe, and non-graphic.

New approved character references for Eleazar and Ithamar keep all four brothers visually distinct. Drafts that introduced priestly garments too early or reduced the breastpiece to nine stones were not published; only corrected scenes preserving the passage order and the exact 3-by-4 arrangement of twelve stones were accepted.

New approved reference sheets were prepared for the bronze altar, the courtyard, and the pure oil. Drafts with incorrect post or lamp counts were not published; only corrected scenes matching the ten western posts, three posts on each eastern flank, the gate's four posts and three bays, and exactly seven lamps were accepted.

Bible reading on e-ink \u2014 now a screen for reading

An e-ink reader is not a good screen for writing, so the e-ink mode no longer carries the writing tools. Advanced notes, verse notes, structure editing, uploading visuals, and posting to discussions are not shown there any more. Bible notes are not applied on e-ink either — you will not see their colour formatting or guide, and in exchange a chapter now opens in 0.7 seconds instead of 2.7. The Bible text and section headings stay, and original-language words, commentaries, verse tags, search, listening, and footnotes work as before, as do highlights and the memos attached to them. When you want to read with a Bible note, or to write, switch back to the standard screen under 'Screen mode' in the quick tools.

The JavaScript behind the reading screen also contained the parts used only for writing — the advanced note editor, verse note composing, structure editing. Readers without editing rights are now sent a build with those parts removed. Bible Quiz — all 24 chapters of Luke, 480 questions across four groups

After John, all 24 chapters of Luke are now open. Each chapter carries five questions for each of the four groups \u2014 preschool and lower primary, upper primary and youth, young adults and adults, and whole-church events \u2014 480 questions in all. Bible Quiz now covers two books: John's 21 chapters and Luke's 24, 946 questions together. Luke is a book of parables, so each parable was given to a single group whole. The sower's four soils answer one another, so upper primary is asked about the good soil and adults about the thorns, with the wrong answers on both sides drawn from the remaining three soils \u2014 you have to tell all four readings apart, not match a word. Parables that only make sense end to end, like the prodigal son, the great banquet and the rich fool, are handled as a single ordering question. The children's questions leave out the tombs and the drowned swine at Gerasa, the flame of Hades, and the nailing to the cross. But leaving out is not where it stops: what is removed from one group is picked up by an ordering question in another. No passage is simply discarded. Every question was run through three machine checks: whether a fill-in-the-blank answer already appears elsewhere in its own prompt, whether one question's answer leaks into another question of the same group, and whether a word in the question appears only in the correct choice, so it could be picked without knowing what it means. Those checks caught and corrected around twenty questions.

Bible reading — a screen mode for e-ink readers

There is now a second screen mode for readers who use e-ink devices. Choose between the standard mode and e-ink under \u2018Screen mode\u2019 in the quick tools; your choice is remembered the next time you open a chapter. E-ink mode turns off every transition and animation and makes scrolling jump instantly. E-ink panels leave ghosting behind, so smooth motion works against reading rather than for it. No colour treatment is applied \u2014 the device's own greyscale rendering is left to do its work. The text sits on a plain white page without card framing, and the site header and side panels are removed so the words have the full width. Version, book and chapter selection, search, settings, and previous/next navigation all remain. Footnotes can be read both as a list below the text and as a popup from the marker in the text, and the audio playback bar and reading marks are kept. Highlighting loads on the spot, the moment you select text. At the bottom right there are buttons that move a screen at a time \u2014 page by page, like the physical buttons on an e-ink device.

Bible reading — opening a chapter now transfers far less

Until now the server drew every verse action button \u2014 resources, parallel versions, verse cards and the rest \u2014 twenty-two per verse, and then hid them with CSS. Those buttons only appear when you point at or select a verse, yet all of them were shipped with every page, including the ones nobody ever presses. They are now built at the moment they are needed. Alongside this, icons that used to be repeated in full for every verse are sent once. Opening Isaiah 43 now transfers 580KB instead of 742KB, and Psalm 119, with its 176 verses, drops by roughly 1MB. The longer the chapter, the larger the difference. What you see and what you can press are unchanged. One thing has been added: the keyboard. Focusing a verse now reveals that verse's buttons, so resources, original-language words and commentary can be reached without a mouse.

Bible Quiz — all 21 chapters of John, 466 questions across four groups

The Bible Quiz now covers all 21 chapters of John. Every chapter has its own set of questions for four groups — preschool and lower elementary, upper elementary and youth, young adults and adults, and whole-church events — so the same chapter draws on different verses depending on the group. 466 questions are published so far. The groups differ in more than difficulty. In chapter 19, which recounts the crucifixion, the youngest group is never shown the scourging or the spear; instead it is asked about the name Golgotha, the notice fastened to the cross, and the disciple who took Jesus' mother into his own home. Those omitted passages were not discarded — they became an ordering question for the adult group. Questions come in five formats: true/false, multiple choice, short answer, fill in the blank, and ordering. In chapters 14 through 17, which are discourse with almost no events, the ordering questions draw on sequences stated within a single verse — for example John 15:16, where Jesus chose and appointed them, that they should go and bear fruit, that their fruit should remain, and that whatever they ask would be given. Luke is next.

Because this chapter records instructions Moses received on Sinai before construction began, the images do not prematurely show the offerings being collected, a completed tabernacle, or the tablets being handed over. God is never depicted as a person, body, face, hand, or silhouette, and is indicated only through cloud and holy light.

It then shows Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and the seventy elders eating and drinking before God; Moses and Joshua ascending while Aaron and Hur receive responsibility for the community; the cloud covering the mountain for six days; and Moses entering the cloud to remain on Sinai for forty days. We replaced the former scene 8 illustration, which made Marah look like a small rocky pool. The new scene shows one very large continuous oasis lake filling more than half the frame and reaching a distant opposite shore, while the caravan and Moses appear small enough to make its scale clear. The water is still bitter, prompting restrained reactions, and Marah remains distinct from Elim with its many springs, branching streams, palm grove, and family tents. Original-language display used to be split across two settings — "side button / below the verse / both" and "version order / original order" — which made it hard to tell what you were actually choosing. It is now a single choice among three states: hidden, original order, and version order. Whether the "resources" button appears next to a verse is now independent of this setting and follows the verse-button settings alone. Reading the Revised Korean Version alongside the original languages (Hebrew and Greek) now works across all 66 books and 1,189 chapters. Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, the Minor Prophets, and part of Isaiah previously had no original-language data available; the remaining 191 chapters have now been completed. Passages where Hebrew and Korean verse numbering diverge — such as Ezekiel 21, Daniel 4, Joel 3, Malachi 4, and Jonah 2 — are linked to the correct source verse. Where Korean supplies words the original does not have, or where the correspondence is not clear, we left the link out rather than forcing it. That is why poetic books such as Lamentations and the Minor Prophets show sparser linking: we judged it better to show nothing than to show the wrong original word.

Genesis 3 is now available in six scenes, from the serpent’s temptation and God calling the people who hid, through judgment and promise, to God clothing Adam and Eve. In the temptation scene Eve speaks with the serpent while Adam listens nearby. The chapter-local serpent is a serpent, not a dragon, and has four small legs. After sin, the fig leaves are small sewn or tied coverings rather than leafy clothing. God wears white fine linen, while Adam and Eve receive lamb/sheep skin garments with visible raw-hide edges, short fleece, and leather laces. Adam keeps a face distinct from Jesus, and God appears only when needed in restrained side, distant, or partial framing.

We corrected the human-creation scene again because it still resembled a wet-clay figure being modeled. We restored the strongest idea from the pre-rebuild image—Adam upright on his knees, lifting his face as he receives his first breath—and reinterpreted it in the current cel-animation style. Adam has natural human skin with only faint dry-earth traces, while moving curls, grass, and flowers communicate the breath of life without a visible divine figure or magical beam. Highlighter — mark the text as you read

You can now mark verses you want to keep in view. Drag across the text to colour just that phrase, or press the highlighter button beside a verse to colour the whole verse. There are five colours (yellow, coral, blue, green, purple), and pressing a marked passage again lets you change the colour or erase it. You can also attach a short memo — a small note icon appears beside it, and pressing the icon opens it for editing. The highlighter has nothing to do with Bible Notes: you can use it the moment you sign in, even if you have never created a note, and what you mark stays visible no matter which author’s notes you are reading. Only you can see your highlights, and they are stored per version — what you mark in one translation does not appear in another, because the wording differs.

Psalm superscriptions restored — “A psalm of David, on the gittith”

The Hebrew Bible counts a psalm’s superscription (“A psalm of David, for the choir director, on the gittith”) as part of the text itself. Korean and English versions, however, do not number it — so the superscription was missing from the text entirely. All 116 psalms that have one now show it as a single bracketed line above the first verse. These are our own translations made directly from the Hebrew (we do not use any modern version’s wording), available in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), and shown in the language of whichever version you are reading. The 34 psalms without a superscription (Psalms 1, 2, 10, 33 and others) show nothing. One fix came with it: the original-language popup used to treat the superscription as verse 1, so the Hebrew words were off by one verse throughout the Psalms. They now line up correctly.

Until now the 1260 QT let you read and check the day off, and nothing more. You can now write your own reflection. Write freely in a single box, or open “Write in detail” to answer separately: what you observed, the word given to you, the day’s application questions, today’s application, and your prayer. Only you can see what you write, and saving also marks that day complete. Your text is auto-saved as a draft while you write, so it survives a closed tab. Reflections are kept per progress chart, so when you finish the 1260-day cycle and start again, the earlier cycle’s reflections stay intact.
